T-Mobile Sidekick 4G by Samsung Unveiled

T-Mobile unveiled the new Samsung Sidekick 4G Android smartphone with support for HSPA+ 4G mobile network with up to 21Mbps theoretical peak download speeds. Like the other Sidekick phones, the new Android-powered Sidekick 4G comes with a “pop-tilt” five-row QWERTY keyboard, combined with the Sidekick Group Text and Cloud Text to redefine messaging.

The new Sidekick features a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel main camera, a VGA front-facing camera for video chat, and WiFi connectivity. The phone includes the Media Room offering users a place to enjoy music, videos, movies, YouTube, T-Mobile TV and Slacker Radio, and to search for content regardless of the source. The Sidekick 4G is boosted by a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor and runs Android 2.2.

T-Mobile will release the Sidekick 4G by Samsung later this Spring. It comes in matte black or pearl magenta colors.
